Board kept by hand, desk staffed around the clock

Booking, from first message to knock at the door

There is no form on this website, no account to create and no telephone queue. Booking is a short conversation with a desk that is staffed at every hour, and it usually takes less time than choosing a companion from the board did.

Three things get you a confirmed time: a name, an address and an hour. Everything else is detail the desk will ask for.

01 / Procedure

Three moves from message to knock at the door

01

1. Send one message

Open WhatsApp, or Telegram if you prefer it, and write the name of the companion you have chosen, the hotel you are staying at, and the time you have in mind. If you are flexible on either the name or the hour, say so, it widens what we can offer. If you are not flexible, say that too.

02

2. The desk replies with a real time

Within minutes you get her availability and an exact arrival window, not a vague evening slot. If she is already booked, you get two or three alternatives who genuinely suit the same evening rather than whoever happens to be free. The fare is confirmed in the same message, with nothing left open.

03

3. You confirm, and the board updates

One word back from you fixes it. From that point her evening is yours and the line on the board changes. If anything at your end shifts, send a message, it is almost always absorbed.

04

4. She arrives at the agreed minute

Dressed for the address and expecting nothing to be explained. She gives your name at reception only if she is asked for it, takes the lift, and knocks. Her arrival is the least memorable thing that happens in that lobby all evening.

02 / Detail

How much notice the desk actually needs

Inside central Amsterdam, sixty minutes. That covers Amsterdam Centrum, the Jordaan, De Pijp and Oud-Zuid, and it is a figure we are willing to be measured against. For the airport hotels at Schiphol, ninety minutes. For Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam, two hours, three in the evening peak.

More notice buys you more choice, not a better price. Message in the afternoon for the same night and most of the board is still open. Message at eleven for midnight and you choose from whoever is free, which on a quiet Tuesday is most of them.

03 / Signage

What to tell us, and what we never ask

Useful: the hotel name, the district or street if the hotel name is a common one, your room or the fact that you will meet her in the lobby, the hour, and the length of booking you want. If the evening involves a restaurant, the reservation time helps her dress for the room.

Not asked, ever: your surname, your company, your passport, your card details, an email address or a home address. There is no account to open and no file with your name on it. The privacy page explains exactly how little of this conversation survives it.

04 / Schedule

Changes, delays and the honest version

Flights are late, meetings run over, and the desk has seen all of it. If your timing moves, tell us as early as you can and we will rearrange rather than charge you for the inconvenience. If we are the ones running behind, because of traffic or anything else, you hear it from us before the clock shows it, along with a revised arrival time.

If a booking has to be cancelled, do it on the same chat thread. The terms page sets out the plain version of how that works, and the faq page answers most of what comes up before it.

Final call

The desk is ready.

One message starts the clock, and the desk is staffed through the night as closely as through the day.
