Black hair, six companions who could not run the same evening
Six names on the board have black hair, worn long and straight in every case, and that is the last thing they have in common. One takes you to a jazz room. One argues about opera. One will have you in a basement comedy club by eleven. Sorting by this column gets you six very different evenings, so the notes below are about temperature rather than colour.
Oud-Zuid lists three of the six, the Jordaan two, Centrum one, which means the column covers the south of the city and the canal ring with short, predictable arrival windows.
Black hair: 6 companions on the board
Every line below is here because her checked fact sheet puts her under black hair. Open a profile for her photo set, then give the desk her name and your hotel.
Who is in the column
Angelika, 24, Amsterdam Centrum, 172 and athletic. Jazz bars, contemporary art and three mornings of tennis a week. Confident, playful, elegant, in that order as the night goes on.
Danielle, 29, Oud-Zuid, 170 and curvy. Classic cinema, poetry and museums, with a composure that outlasts any change of plan and a magnetism guests cannot quite explain afterwards.
Karolina, 27, Jordaan, 174 and slim. Piano, opera and architecture walks. Poised, discreet and drier than her photographs suggest.
Milena, 25, Jordaan, 175 and curvy. Tennis played to win, an evening ceramics class, strong views on espresso. Direct in a way most guests find restful within twenty minutes.
Roxi, 23, Oud-Zuid, 168 and curvy. Boxing gym at dawn, cold-water surfing on holiday, long podcasts in the taxi. The name for an evening that needs lifting.
Violetta, 30, Oud-Zuid, 178 and slender. Swimming, stand-up comedy and second-hand bookshops. Reserved in the frames, the quickest wit at the table before the main course.
Matching the evening
Two of the six lift a room and four of them settle it. Roxi and Violetta are the ones to book for a night out with no fixed plan, a busy bar, a comedy room, a dinner that turns into something else. Angelika suits music and a long table. Karolina and Danielle are the safe choices for a room with colleagues in it or a late dinner after a delayed landing. Milena is the one to send when you would rather be told where to eat than asked.
Dress and presence
The photographs in this column run to the dramatic end: Milena's high-shine editorial frames, Violetta's desert gold, Danielle's red-lit lounge. In a lobby, all six dress considerably more quietly than that. Karolina keeps to clean black lines without a logo in sight. Angelika wears linen and a little gold. Roxi is the only one who arrives with visible energy, and even she keeps it for the bar rather than the reception desk.
Districts and notice
Oud-Zuid puts Danielle, Roxi and Violetta a short walk from the museum quarter hotels and a straight run south to Schiphol. The Jordaan puts Karolina and Milena a few minutes from the canal ring. Angelika, inside the ring, has the tightest window of all. Sixty minutes of notice covers the city, ninety the airport hotels.
Neighbouring columns
Four of the six stand 172 or over and are listed under tall as well. Danielle, Milena and Roxi are also under curvy. For the same depth a shade lighter, open brunette, which is the widest column on the board. Hourly company from €180, and a comedy night that runs to the last tram is priced as one figure before she leaves.
