Curvy companions, ten names and the warmest column on the board

Ten names on the board are listed as curvy, and if the column has a temperature it is warm. Seven of the ten have warmth as a file word or something close to it, and the other three are the ones who lift a room rather than settle it. It is the column the desk opens first when a guest says the day has been long and the evening should be easy.

The ten are spread evenly. Oud-Zuid has four of them, De Pijp three, the Jordaan two, and one lives inside the ring. Heights run from Rosa at 160 to Milena at 175, and the ages from Luna at 22 to Nancy at 30.

02 / Detail

The settled half

Bianka, 23, Jordaan, listens properly and knows which side of an Italian menu to order from. Danielle, 29, Oud-Zuid, brings old films and a calm that outlasts any delay. Michelle, 27, Amsterdam Centrum, asks nothing of the first half hour and is chatty by the second. Rosa, 25, De Pijp, bakes bread, hunts records and never rushes anyone. Thea, 29, Oud-Zuid, keeps a list of ramen counters and cycles in all weathers.

The lifting half

Luna, 22, De Pijp, wine bars, modern theatre and opinions on both. Milena, 25, Jordaan, tennis played to win and decisions made without asking four times. Molly, 24, De Pijp, late bars with a proper ice programme and a taste for house music. Nancy, 30, Oud-Zuid, swims at dawn and drives to nowhere in particular for fun. Roxi, 23, Oud-Zuid, boxing gym in the morning and the best mood on the board by eight.

04 / Schedule

The evening this column is built for

An overnight, from dinner to checkout, is where the settled half comes into its own. Michelle and Danielle are the names for a late landing, scheduled to arrive after you have showered. Bianka and Thea are the names when the restaurant is half the point. Rosa is the name when the morning after should be slow. The lifting half suits the same format from the other direction: Molly and Roxi for a night that starts at ten and stays in one good room, Luna for a late table and a wine list she chooses.

Daytime is covered as well. Nancy, Rosa and Thea take long lunches and afternoons that drift as readily as evenings.

Style notes

Nothing in this column is severe. Bianka's boudoir elegance and Michelle's rose-toned softness sit at the classic end, Milena's editorial shine and Molly's bold glam at the dramatic end, and Nancy, Thea and Rosa live in relaxed, sunlit clothes that look correct on a terrace. Luna is the most dressed-up of the ten. Roxi is the one with sparkle in the photographs and a boxing gym in her mornings.

06 / Transfer

Districts

Oud-Zuid holds Danielle, Nancy, Roxi and Thea, close to the parks and the motorway towards the airport. De Pijp holds Luna, Molly and Rosa, minutes from the ring. The Jordaan holds Bianka and Milena, and Michelle is inside the ring in Amsterdam Centrum.

07 / Notes

Neighbouring columns

Michelle and Milena are also listed under tall, and Nancy and Thea under blonde. The black hair column lists Danielle, Milena and Roxi as well. For a lighter frame, the slim column holds ten names of its own. First hour from €180; an overnight carries a single figure, written in the chat before she leaves for your hotel.
